Objectives of I.T.C. (I.T.I.) Vocational Courses
- To ensure steady flow of skilled supervisory staff for industry.
- To raise the quality and quantity of industrial production by systematic training.
- To reduce unemployment among educated youths by shaping them for suitable industries.

Eligibility for Admission
Admission of candidates will be made as soon as SSLC results are declared, usually in May/June. Regular classes will start in August.
- Minimum qualification: Pass in SSLC or equivalent with 45% in Science & Maths.
- 40% for rural & B.C.D.E. group candidates.
- 35% for SC / ST / BT candidates.
- Other state candidates must have 45% in Science & Maths. No relaxation in marks, regardless of caste.
- Admission/Selection will be based on merit at the entrance test and marks in Science & Maths.
